    Oman climate

    Oman tourist resorts and cities can be roughly divided into 2 areas, which differ in terms of climate. These are Oman - Northeast coast, Oman - South coast. The selection of these regions covers the most visited areas according to our surveys, on the other hand, there could be nice places to see also outside of our selected regions.

    Oman - Northeast coast is the region with the highest temperatures in Oman. During May - July day temperatures of 35 °C (96 °F) - 37 °C (98 °F) are expected.

    On the other hand, the climate of Oman - South coast is coldest with temperatures between 28 °C (82 °F) - 29 °C (85 °F) during the months of December - February.

    The highest sea temperatures in Oman could be found in Oman - Northeast coast, where the sea temperature in May - August will be around 30 °C (86 °F) - 31 °C (88 °F).

    The least cloudy region in Oman is Oman - Northeast coast with 83 % of sunshine a day during its sunniest months September - January.

    The region with the most sun hours (without clouds) during a day is Oman - Northeast coast, which enjoys 10 hours in April - June.

    Oman has the windiest region and it is Oman - South coast with an average level of wind 5 during April - June.

    During the night and the morning, the region with the highest temperature is Oman - Northeast coast, which has night temperatures between 28 - 30 in the period of May - August.
